English actor, TV presenter, dancer and singer best remembered for hosting Record Breakers and appearing in films Dr. Who and the Daleks, Carry on Up the Khyber and Dr. Terror's House of Horrors. In a 1976 Guinness Record Breakers photospread, it described "Norris McWhirter" as 175cm 5'9" and "Roy Castle 169cms 5'6½"5ft 6.44in (168.8cm)
