Lisa Ray is a Canadian model and actress. She modeled for Indian brands Bombay Dyeing and Lakmé in the 1990s. Her film roles include the Tamil Nethaji, Bollywood’s Kasoor, the Canadian Water (2005), and the South African The World Unseen. She has also hosted a travel show on Discovery Channel India and was a host and judge on Top Chef Canada. Lisa has written the blog Yellow Diaries, about her diagnosis with multiple myeloma. She has participated in successful fundraisers and campaigns for cancer research and awareness.
Her father is a Bengali Hindu and her mother is Polish, of Catholic religion. She spent some time in Calcutta growing up. Lisa is married to management consultant Jason Dehni, with whom she has two children.
