Mark Edwards' arrangement of the classic hymn for SATB choir and soloist creates a festive atmosphere in which the soloist and choir can shine. While the choir occasionally serves as a backup to the soloist, the choir also has its own moments to inspire. The first stanza begins with the soloist, while the choir intersperses with choral supplements. The second stanza is for choir only, beginning with TB voices and progressing to lush four-part writing. Following an exciting key change, the soloist and choir reunite for a majestic third stanza that features a soaring solo line and elevated choral writing. The piece comes to a strong conclusion full of energy and excitement. A full orchestration (Score and parts for Flute 1 & 2, Oboe, Bb Clarinets 1 & 2, Bassoon, Bb Trumpets 1 & 2, Horn in F, Trombones 1 &2, Tuba, Percussion, Timpani, Violin 1 & 2, Viola, Cello, and String Bass) is available separately.

Minimum purchase of ten (10) copies on digital download anthems.
